Results of the project TEMPUS IHSITOP

Vice Rector of the KNURE Professor Nikolai Slipchenko and Professor of the Software Engineering Department Natalia Bilous attended the Hannover Messe, to disseminate the
results of the project TEMPUS IHSITOP.

As part of the trip was carried out a number of meetings and events:

– Presentation of project IHSITOP results and possibilities of cooperation with outsourcing scientific training and production center OSTPC;
– Meeting with representatives of the University of Hannover for cooperation in the field of IT outsourcing;
– Meeting with project IHSITOP grantholder professor Gunther Tolkien and discuss about current work packages and current questions of the project.

During a meeting with gratholder following questions were discussed:

1. Interim Report KNURE for 1,5 years of the project.
2. Discussion about schedule of next Project meetings. Tentatively agreed to the following schedule of meetings and events:
– 5-7 May 2014 – Workshop in Wildau (Germany) for the experience exchange in framework of IT outsourcing in universities of Ukraine.
– 26-30 May 2014 – Roundtable in Odessa for the preparation of the Summer School.
– 2nd half of 2014 – a meeting in Klagenfurt (Austria) on the results of the pilot project staff selection at the universities of Ukraine
– 5-18 July 2014 – Summer School in Odessa

1. Discussion of the agenda of the meeting in Wildau.
2. Discussion of procedures for the selection of personnel for the pilot project in Ukrainian universities.
3. Discussion of issues related to the IASA conference in Kiev.
4. Discussion of financial issues of the project.
5. Discussion about visas obtaining for project participants.
